Power of 3® - Weight Loss

Power of 3 Success Story ... 


Hi my name is Anne and I am writing to hopefully inspire all the people who have and may currently being doing the Power of 3 program with Vitality Works where I am  twelve months on from completing the challenge.
 

I recently made contact with Katie from Vitality Works as I was after a new sheet which was issued to “Team Captains” during the Challenge to record on a weekly basis the weight for their Team Members.
 

I commenced the challenge with Vitality Works in March 2011 with a goal in mind to get to 76 kg, (Goal I set at the beginning of the Challenge), when I started the challenge I was 83 kg.  I am pleased to say that today my weight fluctuates from around 73.5 to 74 (having recently been on a 13 day Cruise) I am sitting around 74 with small variations on a daily basis.
 

I have continued to follow the steps I learned on the program

  • Dinner on a Bread and Butter Plate
  • No eating after 7pm
  • Treats I vary, and reward myself once a week with a Bounty Bar
  • Endeavour to continue to cook using the HFG.
  • Every second week I cook one of the slices or loaves from the HFG
  • Exercise on a daily basis
  • Record my achievements in my team folder which keeps me honest with ensuring I keep exercising


This program was well worth the investment and I am very appreciative to Vitality Works and my Employer at the time North Shore City Council who worked with Vitality Works to enable us to benefit from theses programs.  I have also been fortunate enough to participate in  5 x 10,000 steps programs as well and to date I still wear a pedometer.


I was fortunate enough at the end of the Program win a Years free subscription to HFG Magazine for keeping my folder up to date throughout the program. and can proudly say I still use the folder and have renewed my subscription to HFG for another year.
